ROLE We are seeking an Administrative Support Specialist o support the National Park Service (NPS), Denver Service Center (DSC) in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will provide day-to-day administrative support that helps DSC maintain organized, efficient, and well-coordinated operations across its business functions in a hybrid work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage employee time and attendance records in the Government payroll system
Maintain accurate timekeeping, travel, and administrative documentation
Update payroll and attendance entries to reflect approved corrections and changes
Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare related documentation for divisional staff
Review and route travel authorizations, itineraries, and vouchers for processing
Track travel activity and maintain supporting spreadsheets and records
Reconcile monthly travel card statements and supporting documentation
Schedule meetings and organize related logistics for divisional staff
Support daily office operations through accurate, timely, and dependable administrative assistance
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Knowledge of and experience with software, with a focus on Microsoft Office products
Proficiency with computers
Proficiency with data entry
Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent required
Undergraduate degree preferred

Hybrid schedule: 50% onsite and 50% telework
CLEARANCE
U.S. citizenship is required as it supports the U.S. federal government
Must be able to complete the DOI/NPS background investigation and onboarding process prior to performance
Must be able to obtain and maintain required DOI facility and system access credentials
