Camp Counselor

CITY OF NOVI seeks Camp Lakeshore and Camp PowerPlay Counselors (June-August) for full-time positions charged with providing a quality experience for children ages 6- 12. The position will work with a staff of 7 to 16 to provide 50 to 75 campers a week to provide a safe, growing, fun camp experience and work with other staff in a supportive manner. Training and Camp: Orientation in late May/early June. 37-40 hours per week throughout the summer with last days in August.

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Interviews will take place virtually starting in March.

Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old, have experience working with children, ability to work in the outdoors comfortably, must be enthusiastic and dependable, and CPR & First Aid certification required (provided by the department.)
