Camp Assistant Supervisor – Botanical Conservatory – Camp Activenture

Lead adventures, spark curiosity, and inspire kids! Energetic, adaptable leaders wanted to guide youth, run hands-on activities, and gain real-world experience in education and outdoor programs.

What You'll Do Run fun, safe, and educational daily camp activities while mentoring counselors and helping kids explore nature, adventure, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train counselors, promoting inclusion and teamwork
• Plan and deliver weekly activities, outdoor adventures, and STEM/nature programs
• Ensure camper safety and support skill-building in recreation and exploration
• Manage daily camp operations, communications, and supplies
• Maintain records, assist with program evaluation, and help improve camp experiences

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Supervise up to 4 counselors in coordination with the Program Coordinator

What You Bring

• Preferred: Bachelor's in education, recreation, or related field
• Experience leading or teaching children; minimum 3 years preferred

Preferred Certifications

• First Aid, CPR (provided within 2 weeks)

Technical Skills & Knowledge

• Camp operations, outdoor safety, youth programming, leadership, communication
