Summary:
Provide operational guidance and day-to-day coordination for a designated small group of Project Managers within WT Americas, while successfully executing a reduced portfolio of personal projects. This hybrid role serves as a senior resource and first point of escalation for the team to ensure projects are on time and within budget, meeting company and customer objectives, without holding formal performance management responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate product and system orders, deliveries, installation, and operations for a designated portfolio of projects, from order receipt until fully operational at client sites.
Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, setting project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk.
Ensure timely and accurate submission and approval of submittal documents, including technical quality control of documents such as order details and change orders.
Set up logistics for pickup and shipment of major equipment projects from point of order award through equipment installation and start-up.
Act as a senior resource in all aspects of executing projects for a small group of Project Managers.
Provide and share project management expertise to assist the pod in overcoming project hurdles.
Cultivate strong collaboration within the department and foster an atmosphere of trust and openness.
Ensure the team adheres to company processes and safety standards, reporting all safety concerns or near-misses.
Support the rollout and adoption of standardized PM methodologies, tools, and governance frameworks within the designated team to ensure consistency.
Lead efforts within the team to develop and/or improve policies, procedures, processes, and systems to effectively manage projects.
Proactively coordinate with all departments to ensure timely execution of projects, maximization of profits, and effective use of Company resources.
Report project outcomes and/or risks for both personal and project team to the appropriate management channels as needed, escalating issues based on project work plans.
Communicate outstanding service items to regional sales groups with updates on progress, resolution, and completion dates.
Actively participate in teams and work cross-functionally to promote a positive, results-oriented, and high-performing environment.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Consistent, on-time, and on-budget project delivery for both the personal portfolio and the guided team's projects.
Measurable improvements in efficiency, process adherence, and collaboration within the designated group of Project Managers.
Effective escalation and resolution of technical or project risks before they impact customer commitments.
Responsible for performing duties in a safe manner and promoting safety in accordance with Water Treatment Americas safety policies and procedures.
Complies with Quality Management Systems in accordance with Water Treatment Americas internal quality standards.
Complete all responsibilities while ensuring adherence to Water Treatment Americas Delegation of Authority.
Other duties as assigned.
POSTING, REPORTING, AND WORK RELATIONS:
Reports to: Regional Head of Project Delivery WT/ Americas.
Internal Relations: Collaborates heavily with Operations, Sales, Portfolio & Engineering, Services, and QHES leaders.
External Relations: Acts as a key escalation point with customers, partners, and vendors to ensure project success.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field; advanced degree (MS, MBA, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
Experience in project management, preferably in industrial or water treatment sectors.
Proven track record in Project Management driving integration and optimizing project execution.
Experience developing and implementing standardized project management methodologies and tools.
Strong analytical skills and experience leveraging data for project oversight and decision-making.
Travel opportunities up to 20%.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Regularly required to sit for prolonged periods; required to stand, walk, and use business equipment daily such as a computer, copier, telephone, etc.; occasionally required to reach overhead, bend, and lift objects of up to 15 lbs. Complex thinking and analysis required with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
Work Environment:
Generally, works in office environment, however, may be required to visit client sites and be exposed to indoor or outdoor industry specific elements.
