The Partner Contracting Manager position manages and facilitates all operational aspects of facilitating and executing contracting with Virtuoso’s Preferred Supplier Partners. Works as a team with designated Sales & Marketing Account Managers to maximize account productivity and relationships within Virtuoso. This person must be self-motivated, experienced, and proactive in operations management.


Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Oversees annual renewal contracting including negotiating, creating, and distributing contracts, subsequent follow up on renegotiated contracts, reviewing and approving/declining contract renewals, updating database with contractual changes year over year, and tracking/incorporating opportunities for improvement. 
  2. Ensures contractual compliance of all suppliers in portfolio.
  3. Manages onboarding of new suppliers including negotiating and creating contracts, processing signed contracts, ensuring appropriate internal personnel are notified, creating profiles in virtuoso.com, and virtuoso.com training/new supplier orientation.
  4. Manages offboarding of suppliers due to termination, non-renewal, and supplier default including internal and external communications, subsequent follow up, and virtuoso.com updates.


Educational and Skills Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • CTA/CTC certification preferred
  • 4-7 years’ experience in the travel industry required
  • Work history reflecting ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with innovation and excellent judgment
  • Excellent organizational skills and an extremely high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written skills


Travel Requirements:

  • Infrequent travel may be required to attend company events (1-3 trips per year).
  • Travel will be primarily domestic but may include some international.


Type/Nature of Contacts:

  • External: Daily contact with partners and advisors.
  • Internal: Key job contacts are primarily with managers and director level staff outside of the job’s immediate work unit/department.
