Receptionist/Physical Therapy Aide

Requirements:

To be seriously considered for this role, you’ll need to have:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience:  Working knowledge of medical terminology preferred.  Knowledge of computers including Microsoft Word and Excel required.  Excellent customer service skills

Responsibilities:

We are committed to improving the health of our community by delivering exceptional care and services.  As part of the team in the Rehab Department, you will:

  • Work with others toward a shared purpose or goal by collaborating, partnering, or cooperating with others.
  • Greet all Rehabilitation Services patients and visitors upon entering the department.
  • Answer incoming calls and route appropriately.
  • Prepare new patient charts, registers new outpatients, obtain all pertinent insurance and demographic information, and input all data for the initial visit.
  • Track all Patient progress forms and rehab visit statistics
  • Maintain clean, safe and efficient treatment areas for patient care
  • Track needed and orders supplies, track receipt of orders and organize supply areas

Work Schedule: 8 hour shifts, Monday - Friday.

Physical Requirements: 

Occasionally (1-33%) Reaching, reach across midline, crouching/squatting, balancing, stooping, kneeling, jumping, stairs, lifting/lowering (25-50 lbs), carrying (25-50 lbs), pushing/pulling (25-50 lbs)

Frequently (34-66%) Standing, walking, sitting, change position, handling, pinching, feeling

Continuously (37-100%) Must be able to see with corrective eyewear, must be able to hear clearly with assistance

Compensation: $18.00 - 22.00/hr, depending on experience.

Life and AD&D insurance: All active employees working 40 or more hours per pay period are eligible for benefits on the first of the month after hire date.

Short-term and long-term disability: All active employees working 60 or more hours per pay period are eligible for benefits on the first of the month after hire date.
