Location: SPECIALIZED LEICESTER RETAIL STORE, EVERARDS MEADOWS ,LE19 2AN

Full-time, 40 hours per week

Job Summary

As a key member of the Specialized UK Retail Team, the Assistant Store Leader plays a vital role in maintaining operational excellence and driving strong sales performance. You will support the Store Leader across all areas of the business while developing and demonstrating your own leadership style.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- what you’ll be doing day-to-day

  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and the smooth running of shifts by supporting Store Leader

  • Driving the team to deliver on KPI performance metrics

  • Key holder and alarm contact

  • Issuing daily duties to the team and following-up for completion and compliance

  • Stock and inventory management, accuracy and amendments

  • Investigations under the disciplinary process

  • Ensuring the effective scheduling of staff, and taking action to address issues where required

  • Awareness and responsibility for security of stock and staff

  • Ensuring teammates are compliant with training and legality as required e.g. H&S processes, SU access and completions

  • Banking and reporting to finance team

WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN

  • Excellent customer service focus

  • Strong market knowledge within the cycle and leisure industry

  • Commercially astute to identify and exploit opportunities in order to serve the local community and our riders

  • Authentic ties to communities relevant to the brand and an understanding of the social, cultural and environmental context we operate in

  • Highly capable in sales with a desire to meet and exceed budgeted revenue and profit targets

  • Strategically capable, particularly when the Store Leader is unavailable, prepared to take responsibility for actions whilst leading the team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with riders and teammates alike

  • Consistently seeking to improve own performance and that of others

  • Demonstrates self-motivation and awareness

  • Operationally proficient in I.T. skills using EPOS and similar

  • Citrus experience preferred but not essential
