Location: SPECIALIZED NOTTINGHAM, NOTTINGHAMSHIRE.

Full-time, 40 hours per week

Job Summary

An integral position within the Specialized UK Retail Team; the Workshop Technician must excel at delivering service, working to timeframes, empathising with the riders needs and committed to deliver above targets for the workshop and store team.

What you’ll be doing day-to-day:

  • Serving customers in-store, by phone and other digital communication tools

  • Building and checking bikes for display and prior to rider handover

  • Checking in riders’ bikes and repairing as per the job expectation

  • Processing warranty work, deliveries and stock transfers

  • Completing stock checks and accurately recording anomalies

  • General cleaning and maintenance of equipment

  • Professional and friendly conduct at all times

  • Completing any reasonable request made by leadership

What you'll need to win:

  • Technically excellent with all manner of product

  • Sound diagnostic capability

  • Sound product knowledge and the drive to learn continuously

  • Empathy for riders in order to best deliver exceptional customer service

  • Shop Floor, selling experience

  • Numeracy and literacy skills

  • Clear and effective communicator and diagnostics

  • I.T. skills in order to operate in store systems

You will be part of the Store team, which means you will support on the shop floor with sales, delivering a premium service.
